Description: Shop Talk Collection. Rapid Reaction: "bummer". That these are cleaned is unfortunate, since collecting Barber half-dollars in higher circulated grades remains an enthusiastic avocation for many collectors. 1892-S suffers the indignity of having been very lightly polished, perhaps in an attempt to restore Unc-ish luster. Evidence of gentle whizzing (as gentle as this harsh process can be) for 1901-S shows as mildly glossy texture over faintly micro -granular fields. Two coin lot.
