Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1831 PCGS MS-64
Lot Number: 859
Description: Overton-102 is one of the most common die-marriages and has many high-grade representatives (the Eliasberg coin grades MS-67!), with attribution aided by noting how the ends of the scrolls on the reverse match up perfectly with "D" and "A" positioned above. A splendid example, outstanding definition includes strongly articulated curls in the hair, and utterly complete delineation of each individual segment in the eagle's talons. Salmon-grey patina embraces the majority of the surface, surrounded by a lovely russet-green and lilac-indigo pattern of album-storage rings.
