Description: Overton-109 R.4 might best be identified by the equidistant array of four star points beside the lower left curl, and a 9-8 berry configuration on the reverse. So well worn, the eight berry look like a mere bump on the right olive stem. This is a deeply original example that displays very attractive slate-grey color on the surfaces against midnight-grey in the fields. A light pinscratch beneath the bust is of ancient origin.
