The basis of an AU set of Barber quarters, or perhaps impetus to begin upgrading an existing nicer collection, begins with acquisition of this group of all-different dates. PCGS assesses them as follows: 1895-S (AU-53, olive-blue and tangerine at the borders), 1902-S (AU-50, slate-grey with an interesting planchet defect on the cap), 1903-O (AU-55, coruscating tone), 1905-O (AU-58, subdued satin), 1905-S (AU-55, lovely album tone), 1907-S (AU-55, vibrant with violet nuances), 1909-S (AU-53, amber-grey obverse), 1910-D (AU-53, dusky grey), 1911-S (AU-58, true slider), and 1912-S (AU-58, slight friction). A terrific selection within this ten coin lot!
