Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1881 PCGS MS-65 (green label)
Lot Number: 602
Description: 1881/1881. Mintage: 68,000. 39 graded MS-65, 26 higher at PCGS. Obvious repunching of the digits in the date add to the interest of an issue already popular due to low mintage and prominent status as a key to the series. Every bit of a gem, this energetic, brightly lustrous coin displays powerful rotary effect as the luster spins energetically around unseen axes on each side. A singular tick left of "5" on the reverse may be the primary grading determinant.
