Description: Sheldon-61 (R.4) is a somewhat scarcer die-marriage that might best be described as having a high "4" in the date, a curious lozenge-shaped curl atop the hair that centers a little left of "R" above, and "100" angling up and right in the denomination. Nicely detailed as expected of the commercial very-fine assessment, the sharpness gets a bit of enhancement from the way pecan highlights adorn the upper relief design areas and augment contrast with the walnut-brown fields. This is a "look" that many collectors covet. That said, the surface displays some roughness and a depressed circular area in the right field.
