The 1893-CC will typically be found with flatness at the center of each side, but modestly superior sharpness figures into the appeal of this flashy, semi-prooflike example. The curl over the ear is admittedly indistinct, as are some of the eagle's breast feathers, but overall definition resonates with the choice assessment. Delicate ticks and luster grazes show in the obverse left field.
