Description: Private D'z Collection. VAM-8A displays evidence of die clashing throughout, with the best pickup points being a brief dash beneath the second '8', and the left 'C' of the mintmark nearly filled with die polish. Impeccably polished dies have produce a profound depth of reflectivity that quite possibly approaches the 'ultra deep' level of prooflike potential. The obverse left field appears slightly chippy for the gem level, but of course, the intense mirroring of the field greatly exaggerates even the most minute distractions. An astonishing dollar, worthy of placement within a premier gem set.
