Lot Title: Great Britain - Eight coins certified by NGC
Lot Number: 141
Description: Rapid Reaction: "bits 'n bobs". British coins, generally from the 19th century, fulfill the destiny of this certified octet. Curiously, the most aged is the only piece falling in the Uncirculated range, to wit, a 1791 Cornwall County 2-1/2-pence conder token (MS-63 BN). In ascending order of denomination, remaining pieces include: 1863 penny (AU-55, fragile bluish-grey overtone), 1875H "large date" penny (XF-45), 1840 shilling (VF-20), 1849 2-shilling (AU-55, somewhat attractive), 1920 crown (XF-45, pleasing), 1844 crown (F-12, perfect vintage color), and 1894 crown (VF-25, strangely compelling). British copper and silver in this eight coin lot.
