Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1826 NGC MS-62
Lot Number: 693
Description: Overton-110 can be quickly attributed by a tiny dot above the claw on the reverse, and thanks to Glenn Peterson's outstanding The Ultimate Guide To Attributing Bust Half Dollars, such rapid success is made possible for a date that isn't all that easy to attribute from Overton's famous guide. The appearance of this nearly choice example gains distinction by the strangely bright, yet dusky denim-blue that surrounds magenta-grey on the obverse, although the reverse is more typically tinted in chartreuse-bronze. A thin die-crack beautifully connects nearly all the peripheral elements on the reverse.
