Lot Title: Seven Washington quarter varieties certified by ANACS, including a Superbird
Lot Number: 658
Description: Parallel Alpha Collection. Only old, small ANACS slabs comprise this septet of Washington quarters. The 1952 (PF-64 CAM) "superbird" is not so designated but shows the tiny, wormlike "S" on the eagle's breast. Remaining pieces include later dates, listed as follows: 1950 DDO (MS-64, PUP=left branch and arrowheads), 1951-D DDO-1 (MS-63, PUP=IGWT), 1953-D/S (MS-64, PUP=mintmark), 1962 DDO-4 (MS-65, PUP=IGWT), 1963 DDO-6 [we believe this is actually a DDR] (PF-66, PUP=doubled QUAR), and 1964 DDR-1 (MS-63, PUP=QUARTER DOLLAR). Seven coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
