Lot Title: 1918/7-S PCGS VF-30 (green label)
Lot Number: 639
Description: Blackjack Can Collection. By today's standards, the PCGS VF-30 grade for a Standing Liberty quarter seems blatantly understated, because each side reveals obvious, prominent luster over strong details. One could easily see the coin in an XF holder today -- which might represent quite a tidy reward based upon current book values. A solitary, darker tiny tick mark looks almost like a bullet hole near Liberty's inner thigh, and represents the full compliment of "complaints", so there are no visible factors that should lead to a silent net grade. They don't grade them like this anymore, and the lucky high bidder is almost certain to be amply rewarded for acquiring this gorgeous overdate quarter.
