Description: Laurel Roberson Consignment. Unfortunately impaired, this vintage grey piece should prove to be a relatively affordable example of THE scarce and popular key to the Mercury dime series. The obverse actually evades some signs of damage, although one cannot miss a circular hairline pattern inscribed around the portrait, but the reverse displays scraping impact damage throughout. A sad, sad tale of a coin that simply fell into the wrong hands.
