Description: Parallel Alpha Collection. Nifty modern Jefferson nickel errors comprise this pairing, and at their level of very decent preservation, the assigned SEGS grades likely mean little. A 1983-P displays a somewhat grotesque crack through the top of Jefferson's head, outlining an area of certain future die failure. Another 1983-P goes all the way to failure, losing that same chunk of the die, thus resulting in a marvelous retained cud. Exceedingly distinct die-states within this two coin lot.
