Description:	That the clip (we estimate 8% or so) occurred on a buffalo nickel which remains mint-state today is reason enough to make this a desirable error, but this happens to be an early date as well, and it is very unusual to find this combination of early emission, high grade and nifty mint error today. An intriguing coin no matter how you slice it, with the additional notoriety of being struck on a partial collar, leading to a knife edge around portions of each side. Fabulous!
