Lot Title: Collection of fifty large cents ranging from 1800 to 1857 in a Whitman 9110 album
Lot Number: 428
Description: Blackjack Can Collection. Earliest dates included only 1800, 1801, and 1802, with each netting to the AG/G range due to heavy wear and dark surface issues. 1808 is a modestly corroded Fine, while 1810, 1812, 1813, and 1814 actually provide fair surface quality at the G +/- level. Matron head coins through 1838 typically hit the Good level, while 1839 and later frequently make the Fine grade level, including the final date of 1857.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
