Description: Mike Merkel Consignment. Although undoubtedly conserved, the 1855-S double-eagle (SN: C6402) retains intriguing carrot-gold accents around some details. Beautiful overall appeal and luster remains on this difficult coin, easily qualifying it for CAC approval. No grade has been assigned the horseman coin, but it appears to be a stunning cameo proof of incredible quality.
