  • 14K White Gold Diamond Pendant with an Opal, SGL 230831F-SJ
  • Jewelry-Pendants
  • A stunning pendant with an 18.4x11.12x3.47mm Type I, light pear-shaped cabochon opal, Stone Group Laboratories report #230831F-SJ, encompassed by individually four-prong set round brilliant diamonds weighing approximately 1.50 cttw, SI1-2 clarity, I color. (The lab who evaluated this opal did make mention that there is webbing, which can be seen under certain lights, which is natural opaque veining and should not be confused with crazing.) The pendant is attached to a 1.5mm 14K white gold link chain. Length 20”, 4.9 dwt.

  • Lot #850 - 1880 AG
  • Hammer: $1,000
  • Nickels-Shield
  • Inland Delude Collection. Mintage: 16,000. Well-known as an extremely difficult date within the series, the allure of this heavily worn example will be particularly strong for low-ball set collectors who should be able to get it certified right off. IN GOD WE TRUST barely shows only the lower parts of the letters while the date remains plain. Better sharpness shows on the reverse, as is typical for work shield nickels.

  • Lot #673 - 1893-CC PCGS XF-45
  • Hammer: $2,200
  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • VAM-2. Unusually white, almost to a chalky degree, the surface exhibits only glimmers of protected luster just within the obverse rims while the reverse continues to display a fair degree of cartwheel effect. While strongly detailed throughout, the eagle's breast and Liberty's major curls are noticeably flattened by circulation but broad details elsewhere are only briefly touched by wear.
