Silver Dollar-Morgan
Mirrored fields team up with frosty white subjects to make this four-piece group lot of NGC certified Morgan silver dollars truly stand out. Included in the blinding quartet is an 1878-S MS-64PL, an 1881-S MS-65PL, an 1882-CC MS-64DMPL, and a 1921 MS-62PL. It is worth noting that the 1878-S example is actually inside of a ‘fatty” style holder while the other three examples reside inside of older generation NGC slabs that shortly followed the “fatty” era. Gorgeous grouping (ck).

A very pristine run of six early sets fills this grouping with the following: 2x 1952 proof sets, a 1953 proof set, a 1954 proof set, a 1955 (flat pack) proof set, and a 1956 mint sets. Each of these sets are in their original government packaging and the quality of the coins inside further prove their originality status (ck).

Lot #686 - 1898 PCGS MS-65DMPL

74 graded MS-65 DMPL, 27 higher at PCGS. Even earlier strikes than what is seen here for 1898 have earned "UDM" at ANACS in years past but there is no question about the raving eye-appeal of this utterly prooflike example. The contrast may not be as strong as some but the portraits float over ice-water mirrors on either side. The reverse seems a trifle better detailed than the obverse, both sides being nicely struck overall.
