Cheddars de Voirs Collection. BG-915 (R.4-) incorporates a so-called "baby head" portrait, with an open mouth and somewhat flattened brow perhaps responsible for the appellation. Gunmetal hues spill over the somewhat prooflike motifs to a small extent on the obverse while multiple such splashes occur on the reverse.

Morals And Liberty Collection. Kagin-6a (R.5+). Though always weakly detailed, the central intricacies seem even flatter than usual for the type on the obverse, while the reverse seems a trifle sharper by comparison. More important, perhaps, the surface exhibits endearing carrot-gold hue that suggests a highly original surface. Trivial nicks in Liberty's central hair are the most obvious sign of contact, and the cataloger notes a shallow rim bump on the reverse at far right.
