  • Complete collection of Buffalo nickels in a Whitman 9400 album (1918/7-D NGC Good-6 and 1937-D 3 Legged NGC VF-35)
  • Nickels-Buffalo
  • There are no holes to fill with respect to this complete collection of Buffalo nickels that are primarily housed in a Whitman coin album. Heavily circulated surfaces dominate the landscape with the following notable issues present: a 1913-D Type 2 (VF, cleaned), a 1913-S Type 2 (AG+), a 1918/7-D NGC GD-06, and a 1937-D Three Legged NGC VF-35. This is a great entry level collection for anyone looking to own this series on a working man’s budget (ck).

  • Benjamin J. Collection. Cataloger's grade: AU/reverse wiped. Light golden toning is classic for Denver nickels of the era, and it plays beautifully over these almost fully lustrous surfaces. Sharpness probably exceeds AU-55, but a good lamp brings about some very fine hairlines traveling diagonally over the bison's back. A terrific candidate for any high-end album collection.

  • Clem Stevens Collection. The brilliant, shining surface retains all of its original mint radiance, as if the coin had just fallen off the dies, but a number of random, small abrasions land on either side. Die polish shows plainly outside the peripheral lettering.
