  • Lot #826 - 1839 No Drapery Choice BU
  • Dimes-Liberty Seated
  • Cochrane Gambit Consignment. Cataloger's grade: [MS-62], or possibly a point higher depending on how one views the presence of some exceedingly faint hairlines. A clean strike brought up luxuriant details, particularly at Liberty's head and sandal, while the wreath features crisp delineation. A splash of toning across the obverse far right briefly spills across the reverse right rim.

  • Only two MS-66 by NGC, none higher. A brilliant, blazing and somewhat semi-prooflike reverse sees a pleasing, thin ring of album toning. Meanwhile, considerable autumn-gold layers the entire obverse save the rims, where a brilliant thin ring of emerald-cobalt and sky blue encircle the peripheral legends. A very well struck 7/4TF silver dollar.

  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
