D.S. Consignment. A sensationally attractive, gleaming DMPL example, 1884-CC displays inimitable contrast with pristine mirrors and heavily frosted motifs. 1885-CC has no such aspirations, featuring instead an extensive supply of ultrafine matte texture and a phenomenal strike. Two coin lot.

While common even at MS-67, a crisply struck and dazzling quarter-eagle will always be a treat for the eyes when competently graded, as is the case here. Sparkling luster dance around the results of a high-definition strike to great advantage. Varieties have not been well studied for the series but the cataloger notes some "stuff" within zero of the date that could be of interest.
