Large Cents-Classic Head
Sheldon-281, no clash marks and thus suggestive of an earlier strike. This Sheldon variety always seems to come a little softly struck yet the headband shows plainly and most definition within the strands of hair are nicely rendered. PCGS states "cleaned" but a more thorough inspection suggests that corrosion has been relieved from the surface, the whole coin later recolored nicely and nearly to the state of an original piece.

Mintage: 3500. Only honest, light wear affects this sharply detailed and somewhat flashy example. Partial reflectivity comes as no surprise given the very low mintage. Reviewing both sides discovers a fair amount of the hairlining commonly seen on semi-prooflike coins.
