Colonial Issues-Hibernia-Voce Populi Coinage
Z 14-L, N-11, P below bust. Actually, there are 2 Ps below the bust as this scarce die-marriage features the letter strongly overpunched, as is "H" on the dated side. That in turn implies a coin better centered than is typical for the type. These were struck in Ireland but found heavy traffic in colonial America alongside a variety of British tokens. The portrait side shows a traces of coppery red while typical brown patina layers over the date side.
