  • Collector Lots-Proof Sets
  • A tremendous trio of difficult to find early United States proof sets that are each still securely housed in their original government packaging. Included in this run is a 1938, a 1940, and 1941 proof set that all offer above average grades and eye appeal. Each of these sets is still wrapped up in mint tissue and are still in their unbroken cellophane holders. There is zero question to the originality of these sets and that is very difficult to find in today’s marketplace (ck).

  • While not truly CU in appearance due to some light toning, especially on the back, the appearance is all that of "choice" and more. PMG additionally notes an "as made ink smudge" on the right side of the back. The fold which bars CU is at the lower right corner, barely intruding into the design
