The appearance is virtually every bit of Choice BU, including outstanding, full luster that runs uninterrupted through the fields, as well as razor-sharp details. At first glance, the quality seems much superior to MS-62, and even careful scrutiny will find only the most trivial abrasions, about the size of flea specks. MS-64 almost seems like a possibility until one discovers light hairlines erratically scattered within the fields, albeit they are clearly toned down by the attractive yellow-gold color. Almost fully struck and showing a nice, sharp "D" mintmark on the reverse.
