  • Lot #173 - 1918 $1 Atlanta VF, $2 Cleveland Battleship VF, and $5 Atlanta VF
  • Hammer: $1,025
  • US Currency-Federal Reserve Bank Notes, Large
  • Swap Deterred Collection. Well matched, this trio of Federal Reserve Bank Notes that begin an outstanding type set. Included are: 1918 $1 Atlanta (better than average for very-fine given faint creases), 1918 $2 Cleveland Battleship (marvelously original and also free from noticeable creasing), and 1914 $5 Atlanta (modest creasing and a little more toned left of the center crease on both sides). Three note lot.

  • Lot #409 - 1870 PCGS AU-50
  • Hammer: $1,850
  • Gold $3-Indian Princess Head
  • Mintage: 3500. Only honest, light wear affects this sharply detailed and somewhat flashy example. Partial reflectivity comes as no surprise given the very low mintage. Reviewing both sides discovers a fair amount of the hairlining commonly seen on semi-prooflike coins.
