Motor Man Collection. Extensive demand for the key Liberty nickel in UNC will make this blazing, lustrous white example an instant hit with potential suitors. A no-question circulation strike, the left ear of corn is only partially defined and a few subtle carbon flecks spread out in front of Liberty's forehead. An all-too-familiar hole in most collections of choice V-nickels.

Morals And Liberty Collection. Kagin-18. While not rare, the 1853 Assay Office twenty always captures the imagination and demand of even peripherally interested collectors. Considerable luster remains present for this one, perhaps suggestive of the choice grade level. Perhaps a combination of heft and indifferent handling has created a situation whereby many seem to suffer nicks and bumps on edge, such anomalies professionally "corrected" at far right for this piece.
