Half Dollars-Walking Liberty
Def Grapefruit Collection. A trio of Walking Liberty half-dollars matches up well despite disparate grades. Included are 1917 (unusually smooth, platinum-grey shows an interesting line of charcoal on the reverse), 1917-D (brilliant and a true "slider" unc with virtually undetectable friction), and 1929-D (strong for the grade with unexpectedly gutsy luster and minimal surface abrasions). Three coin lot.

Gold $20-Liberty Head Double Eagle
Breezy L Collection. Mintage: 30,000. While not a key to the New Orleans emissions, 1857-O represents a somewhat more difficult date and one often found problematic. PCGS calls out minor scratches on both sides, which would almost certainly be forgivable if they did appear surprisingly fresh, or if, for example, one or two off right of the portrait had not been imparted. A little glossy overall but by no means an unacceptable representative for a collector.

This buzzin’ bold bee pin is artfully crafted with a textured body in 18K yellow gold, made by Turi. Charles Turi, was a Hungarian immigrant who returned to America after serving in the US Army for four years. He used his classical style to create a fine jewelry line and today it continues to be known for its superior quality. Dimensions: 1” x 1.75”, 12.2 dwt.
