  • Lot #609 - 1882-CC GSA (mislabeled), and an 1884-CC GSA (mislabeled), both NGC MS-63
  • Hammer: $550
  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • Marsha Sothic Consignment. Improperly labeled as :'1884 CC" is a lightly copper-toned 1882-CC featuring an unexpectedly clean cheek and a virtually perfect strike but also a couple of skinny abrasions above the eagle's head. Accompanying is an actual 1884-CC frosted on the obverse with gleaming aluminum-white luster while the reverse shows a nice blanket of champagne toning over superb detailing throughout. Two coin lot.

  • Lot #72 - Mexico - 1836-CA AM 8 reales - NGC AU-50
  • Hammer: $1,000
  • World Coins-Mexico
  • KM#377.2, Chihuahua mint. Struck in the usual medallic alignment, this intriguing example shows curiously bright surfaces and an extensive array of adjustment marks at the far right edge. So deep are the file lines that they caused the reverse design to be indistinct in the corresponding area. A much tougher early issue within the series.
