  • Lot #196 - 1928 $500 St. Louis Fr# 2200-H - PMG ChCU-63 PPQ
  • US Currency-Federal Reserve Notes, Small
  • Scarce with "PPQ" designated at the CU63 level is this St. Louis Federal Reserve Note. Were the front centered a bit more properly to the right, one would expect a full gem grade to reflect blazing paper and pinpoint-sharp detailing.

  • Lot #869 - 1909-S VDB Lincoln NGC MS-62 RB
  • Hammer: $1,750
  • Small Cents-Lincoln, Wheat
  • Growth Collection. Struck to a typical level of sharpness for the date. All by itself, the obverse should grade at least MS-64 RB, or possibly fully red given ecstatic luster on that side and a near-total lack of potential distractions. On the reverse, an unusually blueberry-grey splash towards the left is to prominent to ignore and assuredly counts heavily toward constraining the grade, although otherwise, this side would be predominantly red as well.

Excellent condition with a dark patina to the metal. 5.59 troy ounces.
