Zee's Densities Collection. Impairments place a damper on this 3-dollar duo, but how often does one find an auction lot with two certified examples? Included are: 1854 (delicate hairlines subtly traverse the lower portrait, erasing a few contact marks), and 1874 (glittering brightly as is typical of previously edge-mounted examples). Cleaned, but not to drastic extent as the hairlines shimmering across both sides are prevalent yet fairly light. An intermittent hairline scratch down the portrait might be notable, and so is a die crack descending down the eagle's left (observed) wing.
