  • Lot #663 - 1883-S NGC MS-61
  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • Exceptionally lustrous as usual for 1883-S and showing a delicate breath of golden hue. Quality seems top-end for MS-61 as there are no major abrasions -- just delicate, wispy marks throughout from past bulk storage. Flax, maybe, but not a lot of protein.

  • Morals And Liberty Collection. Kagin-20 (R.4). Modestly pale golden hue joins with subtle crimson hues to suggest a decent level of original quality. Glimpses of luster meander between and through peripheral letters, affirming the grade assignment. Gentle hairlines are inevitable for a rare coin of this vintage but there is nothing to suggest negative appeal for this great private issue.

  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
