Silver Dollar-Morgan
A total of only thirteen Morgan silver dollars were struck and issued by the ever-popular Carson City branch mint in Nevada. Here lies a complete Carson City Morgan dollar year set that is tastefully housed in a Capital plastics display board. Included in this particular set are the following issues: an 1878-CC (AU details, cleaned), an 1879-CC (formerly PCGS XF-40), an 1880-CC (MS-63), an 1881-CC (formerly PCGS MS-63), an 1882-CC (MS-63), an 1883-CC (MS-64), an 1884-CC (MS-64), an 1885-CC (MS-62+), an 1889-CC (VF-25), an 1890-CC (AU-58), an 1891-CC (AU-55), an 1892-CC (formerly PCGS AU-58), and an 1893-CC (formerly PCGS XF-40). The tags for the coins that were removed from PCGS holders are also provided (ck).

Morals And Liberty Collection. KM#54, Santiago mint. A tremendous example even at MS-62, luster and color carry this coin all day in terms of visual appeal. Unusual for the era, the planchet does not seem to retain much evidence of adjustment marks after striking, which is only of further benefit to most collectors. Absolutely outstanding and oh-so-close to the choice grade level.

Lot #309 - Native American Squash Blossom

Circa 1960/1970 and signed by Bobby Thompson of the Navajo nation, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and a 5-stone Naja at the bottom. The turquoise cabs are set in a shadow box setting and while most of the background has been blackened nicely, a couple panels need a touch up of color. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Sleeping Beauty mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Length 30”, 5.54 troy ounces
