An errant decision to try to turn a minimally lustrous AU key dollar into an UNC inspired a bright cleaning at some point in the past, and the surface has yet to recover any toning since then. Fortunately, the effect was not excessively abrasive, imparting innumerable tiny hairlines to the fields and leaving glossy texture elsewhere. On another positive note, few abrasions land on the surface, including a couple of linear incursions above the first obverse star, and a trivial scribbling above IGwT.
