An antique Victorian 14K Gold (tested) set including a pair of earrings a pin. Crafted in England, and still nestled in its original box, each piece of the demi-parure features a faceted diamond and a multitude of natural pearls. The pieces are in excellent condition and overall, a lovely set of jewelry to gift. The pin holds one old mine cut diamond weighing approximately .30 ct., SI clarity, I color as well as 30 natural pearls. The earrings are suspended from non-pierced screw backs and each piece holds one 2.5mm old cut round diamond as well as 15 natural pearls. Rebel Yell Collection. Bolender-12, BB-160, and an earlier die-state we believe, unless surface repairs effaced die cracks that help attribute the die state. Sharpness appears to fall about midway between VF and XF, leading to an early dollar with wonderfully bold major details. Despite overall abrading of the surface, especially the obverse, by no means does this coin offend the eye.

Gold Dollars-Indian Princess Head, Large Head
Mintage: 13,000. 23 graded MS-61, 17 higher at NGC. Lurking in an area of low survival rates in mint-state, the 1860-S is not quite as scarce as preceding years and often comes semi-prooflike, although this specific select representation shows only minimal flash. Roll friction scatters into the fields and takes on slightly deeper orange hue while coppery tones persist in better protected areas.
