  • Lot #791 - 1921-D NGC UNC details/cleaned
  • Hammer: $1,850
  • Dimes-Mercury
  • Dino-Mite Collection. Effects of a relatively old cleaning have muted the luster somewhat yet this key dime remains reasonably attractive and would easily stand in for a nicer UNC collection. Of course, the cleaning does not affect strike quality, which was good enough to produce completely split and nearly fully rounded bands on the fasces.

  • Lot #307 - Native American Unsigned Squash Blossom
  • Hammer: $425
  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
