Gold $5-Liberty Head Half Eagle
While more commonly encountered than other Carson City fives, 1882-CC has a curious number of AU examples outnumbering all other grade ranges, and it suddenly becomes rare in mint-state. Five points of circulation limits luster to some extent, yet ample vibrancy remains visible nearer the peripheries. Several dots of greenish PVC on the reverse strongly warrant professional conservation.
