8 graded MS-64+, 11 higher at NGC. The lower mintage of 300-thousand seems to lead directly to extreme rarity at or just below the gem grade level. One would expect to see this incomparably pristine and lustrous example in a gem holder if not for one small constraint -- a minute shiny abrasion out in front of Liberty's lips. The fields on both sides offer texture that is somehow at once both satiny yet semi-granular, the result being a coin with vigorous energy when viewed under a good lamp.
