Blistering white luster roams over the surface of this outstanding, very attractive better overdate silver dollar. That the luster would be so pronounced for a coin that received a modestly incomplete strike is rather astonishing, but the 1894-S is known for pleasing specimens when found in better mint-state grades. While certainly not prooflike as a whole, the reverse does display modestly cameo effect and evidence of repolished fields.
