  • Lot #696 - 1892-CC BU
  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • Benjamin J. Collection. Cataloger's grade: [UNC/light wipe]. Significantly semi-prooflike but the fields are not reflective enough to warrant a full designation. A blazing silver-white key dollar, the fields display very faint, occasional hairlines that suggest an incidental wipe at some point.

  • Lot #585 - 1861 ANACS VG-8
  • Hammer: $1,650

  • Louis Daniels Collection. Mintage: 77,500. Considerable wear has erased all but the first and last letters of LIBERTY on the shield -- practically the very definition of VG-8 for a Seated Liberty dollar. Powdery grey toning predominates while the reverse shows a couple of generally minor carbon spots.

  • Hammer: $1,100
  • Jewelry-Pendants
  • I have to admit, this one won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but you will have to admit that it’s pretty darn cool! The center has a precious orangey marquise coral cabochon. There is a freeform, bezel set fossilized ammonite stone and the piece is completed with a elongated cabochon identified as rutilated quartz. None of the stones have indications of polymers or dyes, Stone Group Laboratories report #240827R-SJ. This piece has a pin on the back and also opens so it can be added to chain. Dimensions 4" x 1.5", 26.2 dwt.
