101st Airborne Collection. A group of Standing Liberty quarters was recently extracted from the consignor's Dansco collection, as all the other pieces are circulated. Included are: 1917-D type-2 (MS-62 and extremely original toning that looks much like mint-set patina), 1919 (UNC/FH but showing hazy surfaces), 1925 (Ch BU), 1926-D (UNC but not well struck and showing album color), and 1928 (Ch BU/FH and with attractive turquoise iridescence clinging to the devices. The 1873 “open” versus “closed” is differentiated by the number 3’s lower serif ball, and its ability to pass through the gap between top and bottom. Bright golden color is, on the obverse, subdued by appropriate marking for the grade.

Sterling silver (tested, not marked) cuff bracelet in an overly bold design. With stampings to both sides of the piece, the cuff features a center applied leaf surrounded by four cabs of turquoise that appear to be from three different mines. An unsigned piece, so tribal affiliation is unknown. The original price tag remains to the underside of the piece. 5.86 troy ounces.
