M#123, Chihuahua mint. How PCGS is able to come up with such an exacting grade for a crudely cast 8-reales is difficult to ascertain, but suffice it to say the surface shows evidence of a fair amount of circulation. Dies were not available in Chihuahua circa 1810-1813 during the Mexican War of Independence, forcing the mint to resort to casting 8-reales from molds which were themselves produced from struck coins. Because of their similarity to cast counterfeits, each had to be officially counterstamped to ensure acceptance in commerce.

This domed diamond ring has a collection of round brilliant diamonds splattered on the top weighing an approximate 1.50 cttw, SI1 clarity, I-J color with high polish yellow gold covering the rest of the ring. It measures 18mm wide and more notably, approximate 11mm high on the finger. Ring size 6.5, 10.5 dwt.
