Peppered by innumerable tiny bag abrasions, the obverse clearly limits the grade as the reverse shows significantly fewer marks. Luster still roams freely and despite a die crack connecting the first five stars, both sides received prodigious detail from the strike.

Lot #289 - Sterling Silver Necklaces

The first necklace is circa 1960/1970 and signed H W on the reverse (possibly H. Wood of the Navajo nation). This 24” sterling silver (tested) bead necklace features a shadowbox pendant holding a turquoise cab with an engraved design. The turquoise looks like it might have come from the Fox Mine of Nevada. Some of the beads have some denting. The second necklace is also circa 1960/1970 and is an unsigned 18” sterling silver (tested) squash blossom necklace for a child, possibly of Navajo origin. This necklace features turquoise cabs that look like they might also be from the Fox Mine of Nevada with a seven stone Naja pendant and eight blossoms. 3.60 troy ounces.
