US Currency-National Bank Notes
Although "splits" calls out excessive creasing that inevitably led to narrow slits down the top edge, they do not particularly intrude when the note is laid flat within the PMG holder. A very scarce Linn County bank example, fabulous signatures and strong color remain visible. Only two first charter are reported.

FS-501 (?). Multiple mintmark varieties exist for 1901-S but this appears to be the "large S over micro S", although slight abrading may be confusing the issue. A coin replete with eye-appeal and perhaps additional appeal given the misshapen mintmark.

A simple solitaire style pendant affixed to a dainty cable link chain with a 6.15x4.65x3.50mm brilliant cut oval tourmaline, GIA report #5231280599. The gemstone is copper and manganese bearing which may be called “Paraiba” in the trade and has a beautiful electric greenish-blue color. Length 18”, 1.1 dwt.
