Included in this run is a 1938, a 1940, and 1941 proof set that all offer above average grades and eye appeal. Each of these sets is still wrapped up in mint tissue and are still in their unbroken cellophane holders. Morals And Liberty Collection. Kagin-18. While not rare, the 1853 Assay Office twenty always captures the imagination and demand of even peripherally interested collectors. Considerable luster remains present for this one, perhaps suggestive of the choice grade level. Perhaps a combination of heft and indifferent handling has created a situation whereby many seem to suffer nicks and bumps on edge, such anomalies professionally "corrected" at far right for this piece.
