Nickel Three-Cent Pieces-Nickel Three-Cent Pieces
1 graded PR-66+ UCAM, 2 higher at NGC. A spectacular example of this lower mintage proof emission from the nickel 3-cent series, this spectacular jewel, essentially superb per NGC, displays near-astounding mirrors, particularly on the reverse. More than a hint of coppery toning flashes across the obverse while the reverse seems almost perfectly pristine. An incredible proof type coin that has virtually no peers.

Technical excellence includes absolutely ideal coppery hue with a broad blush of lavender on the reverse, as well as an outstanding four-diamond strike. Not only is this one of the flat-out nicest examples the cataloger has seen in a while, the population report also spells out the dearth of nicer examples seen by NGC.
