  • A pair of NGC bison nickels near the gem grade level. First is 1913-S type-1, an exquisitely struck eggshell-grey coin that features remarkably clean surfaces for the grade; two delicate, parallel curling abrasions rest left of the tail. 1919 features exceptionally attractive album toning over another very good strike, but also an intriguing lengthy, linear planchet defect entirely across the top of the portrait. Two coin lot.
