  • Lot #69 - Mexico - 1757/60-Mo MM 8 reales - NGC MS-61
  • Hammer: $3,000
  • World Coins-Mexico
  • KM#104.2, Mexico City mint, Ferdinand VI. 1 graded MS-62, zero finer at either service, making this the probably finest known example of the popular overdate. Hairline scratches scribbled into the obverse far right field (undoubtedly limiting the grade) are fortuitously toned into this album survivor that also boasts subdued, peripheral rainbow toning.

  • Lot #361 - 1854 PCGS AU-55

  • Gold $2.50-Liberty Head Quarter Eagle
  • So well produced on the obverse, the reverse shows modest weakness of strike as is usually seen. A couple of stray nicks above the portrait have trivial impact on the lustrous eye-appeal.
